Gameplay. The aspect of the game that makes it enjoyable is probably what swings it for most. Graphics aren't everything, nor is the storyline. NFS Hot Pursuit 2 and Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped are prime examples of this.

Storyline, racing games have no story worth mentioning but I don't find most of them very fun in the long term. I can't stay interested in a game with no or bad story. That's why I like Grand Theft Auto and Halo so much.
I don't want a big car, particularly. I have no need for acreage, and I don't like the fuel bills. But I don't want a small one because they're all like supermarket own-brand cola: weedy imitations of the real thing - Jeremy Clarkson

Gameplay - Even though Storyline & Gaphics is a really nice bonus to the game, the main core of a game should be based on the gameplay.
