Ya, true, you can use a rocket pod from the area where the Scarab was, but assuming you didn't take them or you used them already taking out the previous Brutes and Hunters. I'll give you 2 points since it technically is true but theres another way also.

well u could shoot him with multple rockets from the rocket launcher u can pick up befor the hunters but after the scarab or u can go into the building on the left and pick up the sniper rifle snipe him and if he is still alive throw a couple frags

Good Job, the room on the left was the answer I was looking for. To the left of the door the Hunters come in there is a room, you use this room in the level Floodgate. There's a UNSC sniper rifle in there and some windows to shoot through. So darkish and you both get 2 points.
