EV-effort values it basically means you can get better stats upon leveling up and it makes your pokemon stronger

you may notice that when you level up you get +2 or something in a stat well when you EV train you can get +10(can go higher its just an example) in that stat

lets say you want to EV train a tyranitar in attack
now how to EV train is easy when EV training in attack its best to fight machops or machokes, now it takes 4 EVs to get an extra stat boost machop gives 1 EV fight 4 machop and you get an extra boost in attack while leveling up remember to use specific natures for better stat gains

now i have the best pokemon to EV against for each stat

attack machop(1)/machoke(2)
HP chancey(2)/bidoof(1)/bibarel(2?)
defense geodude(1),graveler(2)
sp attack gastly(1) haunter(2) kadabra(2) abra(1)
speed zubat(1) ponyta(1) golbat(2)
sp def chancey(2) i think

the numbers represent how much EV they give if you want to check other pokemon go to serebii.net and check their pokedex click the pokemon and look near the bottom it says (Ev points from battling)

also pokerus doubles EV gain so machop would give 2 instead of 1 you can also give your pokemon macho brace or one of the power items if you still dont understand it completely feel free to PM me :> have fun EVing

Bibarrel gives 2 attack which makes it the best attack raising pokemon and a terrible HP raising pokemon.

IMO Starley and Magikarp are the best for speed (1 each).

Chansey doesn't give Sp.Def, Tentacool (1) and Tentacreul (2) are the best for Sp.Def.

I just gave those EVs off the top of my head, and i didnt know anything for sp def so i figured chansey gives sp def EVs

Actually, Staraptor gives more than attack then that(3 or 4).

All third stage pokemon will give 3 EVs.
Staraptor, Machamp, Luxray, Drqagonite, Groudon etc all give 3 Attack EVs, but how often do you see them in the wild compared to Bibarrel?

As I said before, Bibarrel is the best pokemon for attack EVs.
