You've incorporated two words into one meaning, justified by one generic example. >_>
Specialised basically means to be modified or altered in some way that makes it stand out from the crowd, for a certain purpose. It doesn't necessarily have to be a figure of representation of whomever created it. Again, I'll use the Audi R10 as an example - thee's no doubt it's specialised, but it doesn't reflect the designer's personality. It's been created for a reason.

All Exotics would be considered specialized. So if you want a detail definition of specialized, look no further than Exotics. They are specialized stock. They don't need to be modded in order to become specialized. They are built specialized.

For those who don't know what specialized means...
" 1. To pursue a special activity, occupation, or field of study. 2. Biology. To develop so as to become adapted to a specific function or environment; undergo specialization. 3. To concentrate on a particular activity or product: The shop specializes in mountain-climbing gear." - Answers.com
So basically it means that EA will concentrate on a specific area on each car.

Well, that could mean real racing cars. Like ALMS cars or top fuel dragsters. Or rally cars!!! That would be awesome!!!
But whatever EA decides on, I just hope they scrap their pathetic attempt at realistic physics.
I don't want a big car, particularly. I have no need for acreage, and I don't like the fuel bills. But I don't want a small one because they're all like supermarket own-brand cola: weedy imitations of the real thing - Jeremy Clarkson

It's going back to arcade modes undoubtedly, hence why they're "going back to its roots".

a good thing that would suit well NFS would be real tunning and a lot of cars...let's say around 100 cars...now i know some of you would want to crap my skull for saying 100 cars, but having a large variety of options makes the game more interesting

The more cars the better as far as I'm concerned. The point here is to have some cars to please everyone. Some people say that's too many cars but who said you have to drive them all? Just drive the ones you want to and let the rest of us do the same. It really is a dumb argument to say that's to many cars.
