Uh no, I said "you don't have to race them".

As in you can but don't have to. As in no one is holding damn gun to your head and you can choose not to bother with them.

I don't want a big car, particularly. I have no need for acreage, and I don't like the fuel bills. But I don't want a small one because they're all like supermarket own-brand cola: weedy imitations of the real thing - Jeremy Clarkson

If you have them you might as well race them. There's no fun in just looking at them.

EA doesn't make games just so you as one person can have only the cars you want. Get real, other people would love to drive concepts and that's good enough reason to put them in. If you don't like a car, then don't drive it, don't complain because EA is looking to please as many people as possible.

    Erm, no and no.

The Underground series is not NFS's roots, and wasn't spread across the world. And yes, it is illegal street racing.

Concept cars? I hope that's what they mean by 'specialized cars'.

I don't think Concepts are what they mean by specialized. Concepts are nothing but ideas. That's what concept is,an idea. Try looking up specialized cars on Google and see what you come up with.

I Googled for specialized cars. From what I've come up with, specialized cars seem to be anything from customized Tuners to Exotics and even cars with special characteristics, such as S2000. The specialized cars I seen weren't concepts. What I seen was Exotics and Tuners. The Tuners were customized, with the exception of the S2000,which has special characteristics.

So lets just say that that's true. Then that means that when EA said specialized cars they meant the cars that their games have always had. Exotics are what NFS was built on and then Tuners expanded that. So why would EA bother to call them specialized if they're the exact same as all their cars?

If they're not concepts then they could really only be ultra rare cars and track bred racers. Cars like the McLaren F1 LM (only 5 in the world, if that isn't specialized then I don't know what is) and the Ariel Atom (bred on a track and can't do anything else but race).
