They're weak to dragon attribute. I reccomend bringing barrel bombs, a sragon attribute weapon and losts of potions. Also when there is the flame guard around it, hit hit until it flinches. Then the flame guard will go away.

i see,,but is there a not too hard to get (well, just with consideration to my level) weapon that has dragon attrbte and is either a long sword or a dual sword? thanks!

I just would use a long water sword. Its great for beginners to obtain and will surfice Just use your spirit melees with it. In other words demon drug mode.

i would reccomend deathprize its what i used and its easy to get its a short swordthough the paralysis effect is useful a few tips:NEVER attack it when its using that explosion move [ the one that can hit u nearly anywhere] u might think ul get away with it bt u wont aim for the head thats its weak point a lesson i learned the hard way:fire HURTS

Id also reccomend getting things like fire decorations that would stregnthen your fire resistance as well as a fire resistant armor.

full daora armour so u have terrain protect high and really fast recovery speed with those skills its like that fire aura isnt there

Hee hee i like to use Dragon Harp on them , has over 250 water and 156 attack. Yes you may think its weak but not true , not when you have 30% affinity automatically on it. I got a 10% boost on the affinity from reckless abandoned so thats already 40% affinity I just need to put a couple more celebirty jewels on me and that will be 50%. I d like someone to top that in the gunnery area

ei thanks for all of yer help guys! i finally managed to beat em! well my net was down for a couple of days so i wasnt able to read ur posts, and i had to do it with my devil slicer..it wasnt that sweet though cause i just repelled them.(twice) that includes lunastra.. (not satisfied) they killed me sO many times i want their head on a PLATE!!! im done with the village quests now! but the kirin quest was gone, will it come back? what element is kirin weak against? and oh, how can i get rathalos webbing for my wyvern blade "blood"? again guys, thanks!
