ok... i do online play with this game and i LOVE IT!! it is soo much fun

but. there is one flaw that i dont know if its my modem or what. whenever i join a "potential match" (one that is already in progress) it seems to lag badly, and the connection interrupts, throwing my guy all across the stage..

is this a problem with my modem? is it a console problem?
or is this just something that happens to everyone?

any help would be greatly appreciated

you might have a bad connection, and trying to throw you in an already fine match might set it off, do you use wireless?

no. i use ethernet, if that would have anything to do with it

but i was thinking that joining the potential match is the problem, because it's already going on, and i haven't had all the full experiance of the battle movements if you understand that

i have a great connection and i have an ethernet, so it is probably your computer. Is it slow?

nope, works fine

i dont know what it could be.. might just want to check connection of everything again *sigh*

ya cause i use wireless and dont have that strong of a connection, but it still works fine even throwing me into an ongoing battle.

i ran the tests for the connection
and with the modem or whatever it is.. it says "Strict" could that be a problem?

that usually means that it wont let through certain signals or allow you on certain websites. i dont know whether it would effect certain games. does it happen with all cod4 online games or just when u join a match late?
