Due to the recent amount of off-topic posting, I have decided to copy and paste the General ProStreet Discussions topic found on the NFS PS PC board, and put it here. Here, you can talk about comparisons of ProStreet to other games, ask for help, and basically talk about anything you want so long as it's related to Need For Speed: ProStreet in some way or another.
Basic reminder of the rules: No spamming/disruptive posting No flaming/trolling Any debates here are to be reasoned out, with facts for justification Absolutely NO posting that is unrelated to ProStreet in any way.
I'll start.
So Dan_Sixx, if you wanted to compare Juiced 2 to NFS ProStreet, do it here, and not on a topic related to Ryo's Car.
Also, massive apologies about the delay, but the NFS ProStreet FAQ will be out in around 2 weeks or so.

okay, so let's compare NFS Prostreet to Forza Mototsport 2 in terms of car variety, tuning options & modifications...

I never got into the tuning of Forza 2, in fact, I never got into Forza 2 at all. I'm a dedicated NFSer

Car variety? Well, Forza has more, and it focuses more on the high-end racing/exotic car market. ProStreet seems to be about dirt-cheap tuners, with a few exotics and muscles.
ProStreet's meant to emulate a true tuner scene, whereas Forza focuses on a more raw, sharper, track-based racing scene.

Forza has the best car selection of any racing game on the 360. It's also the most focused and realistic racing game you can get. Unlike Pro Street, Forza knows what it is and doesn't try to be something it's not. Pro Street is an attempt at being a simulator and arcade game at once, that doesn't work and is it's main downfall. I got bored with both games eventually but I would play Forza if I had to choose. It does everything it tries to do perfectly and doesn't disappoint.

Definitely. But that will most likely be for the next Xbox, not the 360. Turn 10 Studios will continue releasing patches for Forza 2 via XBL, and you can get new cars and tracks in them.
