I chain is when u beat the ele 4 u get pokeradar and u go into a patch of grass,use the radar and some patches of grass will shake.that shaking means there is a pokemon in the blade of grass.when u go into one piece of grass,catch or kill a pokemon another piece of grass will appear.it will hopfully be the same pokemon.after about 30,40 pokemon defeated of the same...well the same pokemon you will see a shiny pokemon.oh and if another pokemon appears,your chain is broken and,you gotta start over
