Well its a mixed thing. On one hand, to complete the game you gotta cheat or spend a lot of money going to Nintendo events and such. On the other hand theres the issue of people cheating when they dont need to, ie they cheat to level up their pokemon, when they could just train them the natural way. I think its fine if you cheat out of necessity, instead of trying to get an edge over other people.

@ the OP-- you say the game sucks?

battle people online. enter tournaments. make friends over wifi.

then come back and tell me this game sucks.

Dude are you kidding me. This is the best Pokemon game they've ever invented. Have you even caught any of the lengendary Pokemon yet? If you hate this game so much why even post??

Yeah but AR takes the fun out of the games.

I think the AR is fine to use but only as a lst resort. If someone is having a hard time with games-that is the time to whip out the AR.

i beat the pearl without ar(i used diamond for my cheats)...yes its probley becuz i dont have wifi,but at least gold silver and crystal had more things to do...this game lacks alot of things G/S/C had... its one reagion, weirder looking pokes (except lucario), its too easy to beat, and its a short game...i noe complaining aint gonna do a thing but i think it needs tobe said...this game is WAAAAYYY to short
