Ok so I finally caved and traded my S13 for another grip car...
    A Skyline...
A Skyline GT-R PROTO to be exact...

The only problem is that it breaks traction too often(Slides out on the stupidest corners)...

So far the only mods I can afford for it are the Engine LV3 and I think that may have something to do with it.

But thats not my point, my point is that I need a good tuning layout for after I have bought all the mods and upgrades for this car, so if anyone has one can you please give me some pointers?

Also don't you think that it sucks that you cant change anything visual on the PROTO at all? Not even paint?

And also also... Isn't it cool what the american announcer says the first time you enter an event with the PROTO? I laughed at it muchly.

Ok well I thank in advance anyone who can help me out. My overall goal is too have a really fast PROTO with exellent control and grips the road like no tomorrow.

If you don't have the money to buy the mods, then you can't tune it. Simple. Buy a suspension to tune a suspension, etc. So you need to win some races before you do anything else.

If you have a good speed car, then take the NITROCIDE speed challenge challenges. They give you mega mula if you win/dominate a race day, around 13k per race.

For upgrades, when you don't have enough money to buy all of them you should upgrade the suspension or tires before the engine or drivetrain components. The GT-R PROTO's suspension was engineered to work with the amount of power that it came with from the factory. Upgrading the power might make it faster but it will also be pushing beyond the limits of the suspension and that can cause many problems while turning. I've never driven the GT-R PROTO so I don't know how good it is and I can't tell you if it would have been better with different upgrades.
I don't want a big car, particularly. I have no need for acreage, and I don't like the fuel bills. But I don't want a small one because they're all like supermarket own-brand cola: weedy imitations of the real thing - Jeremy Clarkson

I've not used the Proto, but have used the other GTR,and can say with a smile, she handles real nice. I could do a 3 lap race and not wreck or even dent my GTR,not even once. All I gave her was the handling package and power package. She's fast stock,so she doesn't need much added power.

I have the upgrades now and what I wanted to know is how to tune it for when i got the upgrades.

And simply buying the upgrades is no way near enough, it still handles like crap, but it goes really really fast.

actually there's not much difference between the R35 & PROTO model... plus, the PROTO cost 30k more than the R35...

I liked the look of the PROTO more then the R35. I think the front end of the 35 is too bland.
