attack lao shan's feet i don't know why but it is more effective than attacking it's stomach i killed lao shan lung 8 times out of 12 i hope this helps..

use a longsword and attack its head and then use spiritblade when it flinches if you do it while its walking most of the hits will miss

I think the real question that should be asked is which lao even though the tatics are the same it just might show why he is so fustrated with not being able to kill it if it is the azure.
Armor: Gravios X / Narga X Gunlances or anything that can get the job done. All I ever need.

not really beacuse the azure just has more life and while its very hard to kill it by yourself its no that hard to repel it and like you said the tactics are exactly the same
