    OK... These are my oppinions...

Need for Speed Hot Pusuit 2 - A Kick-Ass game in its time, but very limiting. Possibly the last decendant of the original Need for Speed series

Need for Speed Underground - A Breakthrough game in the fact that it was the first hugely popular game that allowed for major modifications, that plus a very coincidental release date near "The Fast and The Furious" movie helped boost its publicity

Need for Speed Underground 2 - So so so so so much better then it's preceder, more cars, more options, more gameplay. I think that the whole gameplay factor is due to the free-roaming and a fairly decent online feature.

Need for Speed Most Wanted - I enjoyed it. It was really good to see exotic cars back in the mix but the modifications were limiting where they should have been much better, that and it seemed like they forgot about the whole "tuner" factor that kick-started the whole video-game/car modification union... and I was upset about not having a 350z to play with...

Need for Speed Carbon - Do I really have to? This was by far the worst game in the series. Breaking the cars up into three genres and then three "tiers" was the biggest mistake EA made, that and killing off Drag Racing while they made the biggest muscle car impact yet. Although they seem to have brought mass modifacation back... and the Nissan contract...

Need for Speed ProStreet - I see this as a "hybrid game". The Grip Racing has elements of games the likes of Forza and Gran Turisimo. Drag Racing is an authentic Drag Racing experience. Drift couldn't get any better if they tried, a huge improvement on Carbon's sorry excuse. Now finally Speed Challenges, this game mode feels like EA are going back to the Need for Speed roots, it is incredible. The cars in this game are so diverse and the tuning is near perfect.

Anyway like i said, these are my opinions and i would be happy to hear yours

Need For Speed Underground 2 - Awesome game, the best there was at the time. I never liked the 10 star rating system though. The Nissan Skyline R34 was my weapon of choice and always will be but i didn't want to put a bunch of worthless extras on it. The truck racing was interesting at first but was just crap.

Need for Speed Most Wanted - Another good game. Loved the Exotics and the fact that there wasn't any more rating system. The cops were interesting but I was sad to see the Nissan Skyline R34 wasn't available.

Need For Speed Carbon - Crap, crap, crap. A story that was horrible, even compared to the shallow stories of the previous games. Loved the Muscle cars and Autosculpt but it was boring and a waste of money.

Need For Speed Pro Street - Drag racing is finally good, the traffic in the previous versions were just annoying and nothing else. The Drifting is a gigantic improvement and is not longer much easier than it should be. Speed challenge is nothing but a sprint race at really high speeds and grip racing is a pathetic attempt at realistic racing. Pro Street is not a good racing simulator and it isn't a good arcade racer. This game is no better than Carbon, if they next one is like this, I ain't buying it.

Need For Speed Underground >> Didn't have any free roam mode but still fairly decent amount of cars to choose from.

Need For Speed Underground 2 >> Very good tuning options, good amount of cars & decent storyline. Truck racing was a laugh though.

Need For Speed Most Wanted >> Introduced exotics into this sequel. Cops were fairly smart but few cars missing here & there. Overall, a 3 out of 5 star game rating.

Need For Speed Carbon >> Drifting was unrealistic coz who could drift at 130mph ?!?! Storyline which didn't seem to fit the gameplay. Autosculpt was okay but had limited options.

Need For Speed Pro Street >> Drifting made realistic again. Traffic gone & so is Free Roam. Drag racing improved significantly.

EA are like running out of ideas to create the next-gen racing game. Better start now or never...

Am I the only person who thinks that the physics of the Speedrun mode FEEL alot like the older NFS games? I do know, understand and acknowledge that it is only a glorified Sprint Race from older games but it just reminds me so much of how the older games were played, foot the the floor style.

And another reason why i love this game, it seems to have limitless gameplay. You can always come back and re-race the Race Days for money and it isn't as though anything has changed. Everything is the same as the first time you did it. Obviously if you were to keep racing the Battle Machine races you get bored and tired of constantly winning with no effort, but the Super Promotion and Street King races will always pose somewhat challenging... To an extent

I don't play old games once I beat them and newer games come out so I have no idea if speed challenge feels like the older games. The appeal of NFS to me wasn't the high speeds in a straight line but the high speeds through the corners. Pro Street is just way to easy and has nothing to set it apart from other games. Underground 2 was unique for it's time and that made it awesome but ever since I played Midnight Club III DUB Edition I have yet to play a racing game that lives up to it. Sorry EA but you ain't the king no more.
