Maybe I can help:

1. you downloaded the wrong patch (happened to me, I received Madeival total war 1.1 in some site that said it was clearly for rome total war).

2. You use piracy tools (a probability since you can't update: this is also justifiable since instead you call tech support you post in this forum to ask for help including installatioin problems).

Hmm... I think you really should be nice when asking a question defion. A matter of courtesy man it shows your a civilized person.

Where could i get that cheat patch. I got one but it doesn't work. I have reloaded ver 1.1 no-cd but it still wont work. Anyone can help ? I would appreciate it.

ive been told all the cheats that dont work will when
you get a certan patch,dont knowe for sure.
rommel is one of my favorit gennerals,but to say he is
the best since alexander is a bold statment in deed.
imean hanable,the lion hearted,napolean,oda,the french guy who wipped the germans in the ww1 just to name a few
but still rommel is one of my favs

my ` doesnt work i have an hp pavilion laptop,when i press everything including ` it doesnt work please help me man please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Try hitting the shift key and ` keys at the same time. I've had that work on some games where hitting the `/~ key by itself didn't open the console.

You may also be able to map the console function to a different key in options/controls. good luck!
