dude you are so wrong!! HP is horsepower, while BHP is brake horsepower, i don't know what it means, but that's the correct version of what BHP is
HP = BHP.
HP is scarcely used anymore. BHP is the more accurate and technical term. Take it from someone who does karting 3 times a week, and has recently undertaken a thorough course in motorsport theory + analogy.
