I beat the drag king last week and the grip king last night. The drag king just plain sucks. I consistently beat her by 3 to 4 seconds every time. I even started doing false starts on purpose so I could finish her off faster.

The grip king is pretty damn bad too. My EVO X accelerates ten times faster than his BMW. In the sector shootout he got 0 points and in the last grip race, I would have lapped him if I had one more lap. I raced faster cars working my way up to the grip king. There was this one exceptionally annoying Porsche 911 Turbo that was definitely more of a challenge than the so called king.

Has anyone else noticed that these "kings" don't really deserve the title?

I agree with you on them. They suck big time.

I found the Drift King a bit too easy for my liking as well - we had virtually the same cars but I owned Mr. Kimura by around 2k each run. I ended up keeping his car purely for the visuals... but other than that he does suck really badly. He ain't worthy of his title.

The Speed King does though... he's one hell of a tough cookie. Give himself a better car and he'd be invincible. But that's me talking, and I suck at speed races.

I haven't faced the speed king or the drift king yet but I'm planning on taking the title of speed king tonight or tomorrow. i wouldn't say that I'm good at speed races but I can beat people with my Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 by a huge margin on most tracks. There are some tracks though were I total my car like 6 times before I win.

I'm saving the drift king for last since I just plain suck at drift. I don't change the king's cars either, I keep the paint jobs because they look pretty cool but I hate that you can't upgrade their cars without losing the graphics.

haha it bugs me to especially the drift kings car that just plain art lol but i think the speed king is also terrible if he had a better i still think he wuld be crap i thought the drift king was alright and honestly ryos pretty crap aswel

i own all except showdown king my speed car is way to slow
the speed king sucked
the drift king sucked i used a focking panotonic gto to beat him
the grip king what grip king i lapped hin almost every race
drag queen what can i say she sucked

ahah i know especially the gripo king hes tererible i lapped him in my lp640 and the speed king is terrible hu is he denver pfft lol ande the showdown king is crap on speed it doesnt matter if u go behind hell end up crashing he always does lol

Is the LP640 much faster than the EVO X in grip races? I used my EVO X to beat the grip king and I would have lapped him if I had one extra lap but you guys lapped him in the number of laps given. Or maybe you guys just took the race more seriously than I did because the second we were off the line it was obvious that his car sucks so I didn't really care how neat I raced.

The LP640 sucks at grip races. Big time. It's weight is the problem - it really drags in the corners. Even with all the aids off. Its best at speed - its weight helps with stability, couple that to an unbeatable 900BHP+ engine and you've got one hell of a speed combo.
