Hi,
I use 1.1A trainer and patch and I'm stuck at the beginning where you should kill savolla or frightener. After half an hour of fighting neither of them seem to die. I used bells for frightener and it never dies!! I'm really tired and want to continue this part. Is it because I use a trainer?
I deleted and installed the game again, no results... I played the game in 1.0 and 1.1 patch, neither works.
Can anyone please give me some ideas... I can send my save game to anyone who might help me...

Try to fight without using a trainer. If they "seem" to die, so this will tell that the trainer is in conflict with a game (i.e. patch installed) and when u use it, your enemies are godlike as well. If not, it means that you're doing something wrong.

Yes, I've tried turning off the trainer, still no luck. I've uninstalled the game and installed it and played it with patch 1.0, still no luck. Can you please check my savegame file and see if I'm doing anything wrong and if you could pass this part for me? I'm really sick of fighting them... Here's the link to my save from yousendit... Dude, to kill the Frightener, you gotta ring all the bells and cauldrons around the Frightener.

I think there should be 1 bell, 2 cauldrons. When you've hit all 3, the frightener will be vulnerable.

Trust me, it took me sometime and was rather tedious but it works.

Oh and by the way, the trainer doesn't affect them.

One other little point is that after you have all three things ringing (bell and cauldrons) they're on a timer. Unless your real fast killing the Frightener (I wasn't) you'll have to runaround and get all three ringing again, so if the Frightener starts fighting back (isn't stunned) it means the ringing has stopped. I learned that the hard way .

Thanks a lot. I've actually went on to kill savolla and after fourty five minutes of fighting it I finally killed it. With every hit I was taking his life but very little. I don't know if it was a game problem or not but I'm glad I finally passed it. Now I'm in chapter 2.
