Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion - Shivering Isles Message Board  

One of the last times I loaded up my Oblivion profile, I had the Dawn/Duskfang on my persons. Out of the Isles. In my inventory. I was using the damn thing for s sake. When I loaded my profile up after a while, the game claimed that some of the downloads I had were NOT working. I continued anyways, and because of that, Fang was taken off my inventory and possibly lost. What the hell happened? After I downloaded the damn Shivering Isles package, it should NOT have told me to download it a second time with MY microsoft points. Further more, after downloading it, I should have received Fang BACK. I went to the fort in which you first meet the blade and spoke with the man that works there. He was wandering around in the main entrance (strangely) and there were no enemies around. I left and came back a while later to find that the gate that allows you to exit after getting the Fang was open as was access to the portal. The portal worked, but the gate that lead anywhere else was closed off. Is there a way to get my Fang back? And why the hell did I have to download Shivering Isles a SECOND time with microsoft points?

dude, calm the hell down. this place isnt for ranting. you can re download thing u already downloaded for free. so calm down. besides, once u get to lvl 25 u can get a better weapon than duskfang. its not that great anyway.

Yea, Duskfang is OK, the only thing I like about it is the recharging every day. Go get Umbra or something.

agreed fang isnt that great...shadow fang is better by far, but you should be able to re dl it free...makes no sence y you have to use points for what you already have
