Halo 3 Message Board  

I just beat Halo 3 on heroic. The level "Cortana" was really worrying me but it turned out that it wasn't as bad as I was expecting. The key to the level is finding the three or so flamethrowers and make sure you destroy the flood bodies so they can't come back to life. There's a flamethrower by the crashed Pelican around the start of the level, another one in a maintenance tunnel later (sorry I couldn't tell you exactly where) and another one somewhere but I can't remember that one either. There is also a rocket launcher somewhere before you enter the room where the skull is, grab that and you can use it to kill the ranged transformation forms. To get through that room easily, just keep switching weapons repeatedly (since they get thrown forwards a bit when you do that) until they drop down into the room and do that until you have enough weapons. I did that until I had a rocket launcher, brute shot, 3 energy swords, and 2 carbine rifles. I made it through that room so easily like that.

If you manage your weapons really well and draw flood to you instead of going to them you can get through this level pretty easily. That's a lot coming from me since Halo 3 is the first time I've ever beaten a Halo game on anything higher than Easy mode.

i no! seriously! i hate that level! that's the only mission i hate out of the whole game.

8.5 the campagian is a bit lacking but the multiplaier makes the game worth it

9/10 Very fun but kinda short. And the pre-teen nerds ARE VERY ANNOYING!!!!

the game is good multiplayer is great "cortana" is the most annoying level ever, pre teens are annoying because they cry to their mommies when they die and i mean everytime they die...lol game is worth buying lol
