Well, all the Final Fantasy's are a complete different storyline/new worlds per game in the series, so you don't have to play the prequels to play the next one in the series. For me the best ones were... 5, 7, 8, 9, and 10.

TBH Disneygirl, I say give it a go, the Whole Final Fantasy Universe is pretty memorable, The newest one takes the game mechanics a different way, but its still a great game, I'd say start with FFX for PS2, im sure youll enjoy it as much as I did, and post back and let us know what you thought!

make sure to get FFXII for ps2 it is thee best ps2 (besides guitar hero 3)
