uhh yeah , when you go against him make sure you D. is at least over 270. It helps alot.And here are some items that would be very useful.

Items:
*10 Potions
*10 Herbs
*10 Blue Mushrooms
* As much life powder as you can get or Mega potions
* 3 shock and 1 pit trap'
* Several flash bombs
* several deodorant
* 3 Mega juices

Weapons to bring: Anything with fire

Also a good cat combination is (Golden fish brew and Kirin cheese) *Holidays idea* which gives ya 50+ health , 50+ stemina
Or Heaven bread and 1000 year crab. Give you 20+ defence and 40+ health. * My Idea*. This stuff will really help you in your situation , the rest is up to you

any ideal armour sets

Hmmmm well a good skill to have is Sharpening inc. and expert and the armor that can give you one of those is ceanataur U armor. Mainly it just gives you sharp sword to retain your edge longer and expert which gives you affinity. Highly effective

As for the shapening inc. you would need i think 4 grinder jewels.

What i did with my ceanataur U armor is given myself these effects.

1. Evade +2
2. Expert +1
3. sharp sword

How i got Evade is through jewels. Most effect. The way it works is when you do your dodge roll your invincible. You can pretty much roll through there attacks.
Anyways you be creative and see what abilities suit you. Cheers

Here's a great tip that will help loads of you (unless you already know).

When knocked out (stars around your head), Gypceros blinded you, or Garuga keeps owning you, whatever. When you're defenseless with stars around your head (or as I call it 'Dizzy'), keep moving your analog stick in circles, and it makes the stars go away faster.
