I have run the trainer before and after the game, outside and inside the game folder. It detects the game, and the voices for activated work. But it seems it does not work with the spanish version of the game. Do you know of a fixed exe that *will* work? I have the original game, so I suppose it wouldn't be a problem to grab another exe.

checked, looks like the only no-cd version for 1.3 is Skidrows' I can play it no probs on my install. But the trainer still wont work.
Tried even running a few turns maybe it needed to catch up?
Any ideas on what I could be doing wrong?

unfortunately not. This trainer has been out for a very long time with few problems. I would recommend reading through the other threads on this board for more solutions, in addition to the trainer troubleshooting guide. I've seen some simple things be solutions such as making sure your numlock key is on, you're using the numpad keys, etc. Running as Administrator in Vista, disabling antivirus, etc.
Also, if you have the Kingdoms add-on, you should check the threads on that board for specific issues related to having both games installed.

Anyone else having problems with the 1.3 trainer not working in MTW II? The game just dies to desktop within a few minutes of starting the game when I use the 1.3 trainer.
I am using Windows XP SP2. The Game I have is Medieval Total War II with Kingdoms expansion pack.
The Trainer for Kingdoms works. It is just when I try the 1.3 Trainer in MTW II that the game crashes.

check the threads on the Kingdom board. You have to install the game a certain way with Kingdoms for the trainer on original game to work correctly.

I'm crashing to with the 1.3 trainer also. I read the post tried the no cd key (which is very cool) but with that when I hit the hour glass in the game it just crashes. Have you found a fix yet. In the meantime I uninstalled the game and reinstalled back to 1.2. I hate having problems. :-(
