I've never been to Singapore, is it a Democratic state or Communist? Just wondering, not trying to be rude or anything.

since this is a need for speed thread, i'll just close the other topic right here... well, Singapore is a multi-cultural & enthic society which sees everybody, including myself, as equal... & yes, it's a democratic country SuperSkyline 89. The MOST LIKELY reason the government would ban such violent games like GTA IV because they wouldn't want a similiar scenario like the hostage holdup in certain American high schools whereby the mastermind was influenced by virtual games such as GTA IV and the like... (Correct me if I'm wrong about whether it's American or not)

Ya, I'm so afraid that I'll crash my Zonda that I'm not pushing it to it's limit. Thats the only bad thing about Pro Street, the driving dynamics aren't arcadish or realistic like Forza. The driving dynamics are in the middle somewhere, a weird mix of both. I wish they had just chosen one, either arcade or simulation. The cars in Forza are purely simulation so the driving dynamics are consistent and that makes the cars easy to push to their limits. But in Pro Street the cars have to take turns slowly but they can still slide around some of them, the dynamics aren't consistent. I hate that.

    RebelCommander,
I don't remember any shootings that were influenced by GTA, not denying it, just don't remember. There was a shooting in Canada not long ago where some guy went into a College and killed a bunch of people. That was influenced by a video game but it was some crappy java game on the internet that was based on the shooting at Columbine.

    jhutchinson,
No problem, I can't control the Zonda at high speeds so I changed it to grip racing. It's awesome but I'm to afraid to push because I might crash it.

No, I'm currently in Super Promotion races. I could just race him by using the UNLOCKALLTHINGS cheat but I want to beat the game in the order it was meant to be done. I have exams on Monday and Tuesday so I'll won't be playing Pro Street except late at night after I stop studying but I think I can get the game finished in a week or so once exams are over.

I used to be really good at drifting in NFS Underground 2 and NFS Carbon but the dynamics of this game are so different that I'm really struggling to adjust to it. Some people would say that I should just practice like hell but I don't care about this game enough to sit there doing that. I have only won maybe 2 or 3 drift events but when i do win, it's by a huge margin, usually a couple thousand.

I'm thinking about getting a car specifically for doing wheelie competitions. Only a classic muscle car though, I don't drag with tuners, exotics, or newer muscle cars like the Corvette or Viper. I'm thinking Plymouth Hemi Cuda, 69 Chevrolet Camaro, Dodge Charger, or Dodge Challenger. Anyone have any of those?
