Neverwinter Nights 2: Mask of the Betrayer Message Board  

I have finished mask of the betrayer campaign so i decided to play old campaign of neverwinter nights 2.

The problem is i always stuck in "ruins of the past" quest.
Daeghun told me to retrieve a shard from the ruins, i have retrieved it but nothing happen, the journal didn't update, Bevil should say something when i retrieved the shard but he didn't.

When i came back to West Harbor, Daeghun say: "why you came empty-handed, retrieve the shard....". I have the shard in my inventory, i even insert it with console command.

Tried it many times with many character, new or existing, i even reinstalled the game several times, but it doesn't resolve the problem.

If someone know how to solve it please help me.

from what ive read (I have the same problem) you have to instal the original than motb game than run the updater in the game. Ive downloaded the patch but havn't tried the game yet to see if it works.
