I'm thinkin of buying the game,but I wanted to ask you guys first.
What do YOU think about the game?Is it good and worth buying?How long is the campaing?

its a cool game and right now im really thinking about playing it again with another character class, once i finish the game.
so it does make a lot of fun and im playing the game in single player mode now for . . . not sure. but i think far more than 30 hours.
there are lots of nice ideas in the game, like the "augmentrex 3000" where you can upgrade items for money, and the "plugin system" where you can put special things in your weapons that upgrade or add certain atributes. and you can remove those plugins and insert then in other weapons or plug other upgrades into the weapon where you pulled them out of.
no more "once and for all" enchantments or something like that.

BUT!
this game STILL has lots of bugs. questitems seem to drop till you have the right amount in your inventory. so if you dont pick them up you end up with far more of them than you need, and then you cant destroy them or get rid of them any other way.
sometimes you have to do missions where you have to kill a certain amount of enemys and it happened to me several times, that i got ie. 8 of 10 killed and then there were no more of those enemys. i had to quit the game and load it again to solve this.


in short: it is a very good game, but its not yet worth the 50€ i had to pay here in germany.
maybe when they got rid of those bugs/features.

but anyway: you have to decide. =)
the maps are generated the first time you enter them, like in diablo. but then they are generated AGAIN when you quit the game and load your character again. its like you are playing a guy with absolutly no sense for orientation. =)

Oh,dont worry.I wont buy the game.I will download it.And the bugs....I will install patches to be sure....

i DO play the fully patched version of the game, but those bugs are still in the game.
its worth playing, but its not worth the price they want for it in the stores.

and if you know the bugs you can try to avoid them. =)

im playing an "Evoker". its pretty much the sourcerer you know from other RPGs.
there are several "focus items" you need to cast your spells, and you can use some normals weapons. but you cant use blades or bigger guns. for those you need one of the other classes like the blademaster or the mechanic.

the weapons vary from "singleshot with lots of damage" to "streamweapons with area-damage".
so if you are more the precise player, you get yourselve a marksman and choose to use sniper-like weapons with high range.
or if you are more the meele-type barbarian player you play a blademaster who can wield 2 swords at a time.

the game really gives you lots of possibilities to create a charater that you like to play.


and to come back to your question: i cant tell you what weapons you would call "good", but i know, that 2 focus items with lots of damage held you pretty good against most of the enemys! =)

I already downloaded it,but I will install it tommorow.According to your posts,sounds like you now the game like your pocket.

At first glance, I think this is an online game, just like WoW doesn't have single player campaign. So my guess is wrong.
