Yes, I believe you are soap.
And Jackson only got hit by the shockwave inside the helicopter. When it spun around like it did it cushioned itself giving it a softer landing.

Jackson survived the fall but died a few minutes later....I think he died because his injuries and the radiation.When he jumps falls down and gets hurt even more.That nuclear impact was a little stupid...Everyone died,Baghdad is turned to dust.
But there is one thing thats not right.
When the chopper crashed it was right next to a building and a hill.In the aftermath,the chopper is next to a building near a street....How can that happen?Like it teleported itself to another location...Makes no sense.
