I was just wondering, what are the best programmes to use for editing and stuff? Any recommendations?

photoshop, but usually you have to pay for it. Among the free ones, i would have to say paint.net is the best.

    Photoshop
    MS paint
    Photostudio
    Photoimpression
    ...and so on.

    Microsoft word also helps.

the first shows signs of skill, but I'd probably use a different tactic for making the chief selection, as the edges are a bit jagged, I'd personally probably use a combination of the magnetic lasso, smooth selection tool, gaussian blur all in a layer mask (if your able to decipher what all that means)

as for the second, the look is easy to achieve, but a good one, as its still a work in progress I don't think its ready to be criticized or judged
