I wouldn't get it at all. I played through the entire game and was extremely disappointed. I had to actually try hard to make the game MORE fun. There were no stealth missions(like mentioned in a few interviews) or cool cut scenes...in fact there are no action cut scenes at all. There is not much freedom in the way you kill each assassin, in fact you will probably kill each target the same way. All the missions are EXACTLY the same. You interrogate the same guy every mission, only difference is he has a different name, then you'll help out a fellow assassin and last you'll pickpocket some guy. The storyline is extremely cheesy and you could probably come close to figuring out the game's entire plot within the first hour of playing (WAY too much foreshadowing). I'll admit the game was cool until i got the the second, third, forth assassin and they were all exactly the same deal, just a new level. The combat can be fun and the counter attack moves look pretty cool when you first see them, but when you've seen them 100's of times, it gets really old. On top of that Jeruselem and Acre are so big, that you would never be able to tell the two apart there are way too many buildings to know where you are or where you're going and most of the building look EXACTLY THE SAME. Another annoying dissappointment was that you NEVER get the crossbow...some people say that the videos are old, but the intro video clearly shows Aliar with a crossbow. This game may appear to be extremely amazing, but don't be fooled by good advertising and marketing.

yea i just beat the game on ps3. i was really impressed by how much detail the background had but the storyline is really wierd by how it keeps switching from the 16th century to present day. And you are right by saying you do the same thing before each assassination (pickpocket, beat up someguy for info, help a fello assassin, and eavesdrop on a conversation. it wasnt worth the $60 i paid for it.

    My simple review is this...
    Graphics: 10/10...OMFG ITS BEAUTIFUL!
Innovations: 10/10...This is a break through in gaming tech!
Sound: 8/10...good, but voices get repetetive from guards after a while, and its hard to balance the voice volume
Game Play: 4/10... Amazing for 3 hours then just flat dies, missions become a chore and all you play for is to see how the story ends
Over All: 8/10... Its got great stuff, but the game play is holding it back...a lot...
As for what system... Depends, 360 is darker, and therefore looks better because that allows them to sink in textures more, but ps3 is a little easier to see, and you are less likely to miss those hidden templars and those god ****ed flags. I have it for Ps3, not worth $60, price will probably drop soon cause of mission game play.
A Train Station is where a train stops...
A Bus Station is where a bus stops...
On my desk I have a work station...
What more do i need to say?

Don't know which system to get it for. Tryin to decide the pros and cons of each. Anyone have opinions or better yet, any facts for what would make it better on either system? Also post some links for sites that show any or all the differences of the 2 versions. Thanks

Guess who did not play the game correctly, in fact there are stealth missions when you do the 'informer' missions, you must stealth kill the targets without being caught or seen. Did you get all the flags? Did you kill/assassinate all the Templars??

$60!! Is that all, I paid over $100 due to being in Australia...

Now to the original poster, the differences between the 2, X360 and Ps3 are very slight that you probably would not notice them anyway, I have this on Ps3 and brother has it on X360 and the both look very damn good. If you have both consoles then get the one that's cheapest if you want, or wait until February for the PC version of the game.
