Yes there will, but it won't be called Halo 4 since that trilogy is done. Rumor is that it will be called Halo: Chronicles. It isn't a game in the way you would be thinking either, it's an "interactive movie" where you watch scenes and there are "semi-playable" parts.

I'm gonna do the same thing as white3Ghost become a game designer.But ive never played halo 3 ive olny played 1 & 2.But u guys should go on 2 youtube and type in masterchief sucks at halo 1,2,3 and v4 its so funny!But only if your allowed to listen to swearing.And the game i wanna make is a dbz one its gonna hav everything all characters eva seen on the show even nomal people and kids!

but... that ending is anoying

I think they made the ending like that so that it leaves enough to make other games of it or mabe they will do a prequel of Halo placing it back when there were 100's of spartans ect ect.

Technically Halo Wars is that prequel. Although it's not based when there were hundreds of Spartans, it's based on when there were only 33 or something. And that's just because only 33 survived the physical and mental augmentation that they received to make them super soldiers.

There were actually never hundreds of Spartans. The kids that were abducted for the Spartan program that the Master Chief was in only totaled around 75 kids. So there were only ever that many Spartans, they never did any real missions then though. They received physical and mental augmentation, which killed or disabled all but 33 of them. After that, they received their Mjolnir armor and then started the fight against the Covenant. So a game with hundreds of Spartans wouldn't make sense and Bungie (or whoever is making this game) wouldn't make a game with hundreds of Spartans.
