my guess is that there are users that the 64 bit version of the .exe gets launched because they have vista or a 64 bit OS and the trainer wasn't designed with those executables. I have saved four different types of characters using the trainer and i can load them back with no problems. without the CE in my hands and without a 64 bit OS it will be impossible to look into this further.

The game uses one installer which in turn will run one of two installers which will copy the appropriate bin folders to the game install directory, one for X86 and the other for X64 - However you can manually copy over the remaining bin folders from the disc.
(32-bit users don't need to do this but 64-bit users can probably run the game with the x86 executables.)

If someone would like to write up some working instructions on how to run the 32-bit version of the game on x64 OS's, I'll add them to the readme files for the trainers. Thanks!

We've now received confirmation from multiple sources that the current trainers work fine on both NORMAL and COLLECTOR'S EDITION in 32-bit mode.

That is not true. The number five option does not work. I am using the 32 bit version. My game is the retail version. Again this is not the CE edition. All other options work. Could you please fix the number 5 option? If all other options work, then this is a trainer problem. Not an OS.

check the other thread for more info on the skills option. it's not 'broken', it's the game checking at some points.
