Crysis Message Board  

Having an issue loading the trainer. I run it before i start the crysis demo, hit F1 like it says at the main menu, but it does not say "Activated" like it is apparently suppose to. Any idea's?

Oh, and on the bottom of the trainer it says "Crysis.exe loading!"

either your demo file name has been renamed

should be Crisis.exe (note the caps)

OR

something is blocking the trainer from accessing your game like a virus blocker or if you are on windows vista you didn't give the trainer administrator priveledges.

Running XP Pro x64, also my AV is NOD32, doesnt tend to block anything but I'll test and update.



EDIT

Turned my AV off, still doing the same thing. Checked for the spelling thing, heres what my path looks like

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\Crytek\Crysis SP Demo\Bin64\crysis.exe"

Assuming if I edit the "crysis.exe" to "Crysis.exe" it should work. Will update again after its tested.


EDIT 2

Hmm changed my exe to "Crysis.exe" and still the same thing. Looks like the trainer knows that the game is running, but doesn't seem to want to activate when F1 is pressed.

Any other idea's?

The .exe might be different if it's a 64-bit version. All of the trainers we create are for 32-bit versions of the game. Some of them may work in 64-bit mode, but the exe will typically have to be the same.

Well its not specifically a x64 demo, just the regular one (linked on the main page of this thread i believe) so that part should be the same, only thing that "should" be different is my Program Files for non x64 programs is called Program Files x86

I'm having the same trouble in a 32bit version of vista ult. I have used your trainers in the past and found them great, this one just doesn't want to say (h)activated. Demo version I'm using is 1.0.0.1

Hope this helps in some way

Trainer works fine for me using 1.0.0.1 and Vista Ultimate.

1. start trainer (right click, run as administrator)
2. start game
3. press F1 at main menu (making sure f-lock key is on)
4. hear activated
5. load or start game
6. press numpad keys (making sure numlock is on and using the actual numpad)
7. hear activated and all options work fine

I've also used multiple CH trainers, and have been very impressed with them. Being why I'm a new Unlimited member, hopefully this is just some weird glitch thats easily fixed

Where did you download your demo from, maybe its just the one we downloaded doesn't want to work.
