no but if you get the recovery skill then all you have to do is back away from them for a couple of seconds and you will get all your life back, i got the gold moon armour just for the grank lunastra and teostra

I'm HR4 and still find a 5* Monster hard to kill ¬_¬

all u have todo is keep atticking it and the fire will go away, but its health goes back up in no time, so just keep atticking it

Well i tell one thing that annoys me When you throw a flash bomb at a tigrex and it still can hit you with a lot more move combos than the rathalos did.

Yeh, Tigrex is kinda mental... And do some monsters get out of traps quicker than others? I noticed that Tigrex gets out faster than a rathalos...

Yes they do its the same with other things such as poison and stun, I think each monster has a hidden value for how long it does like elements, say it will be weaker to poisen than sleep, but i dont think this affects how much you will poison/put it to sleep/stun it tht goes to how much your weapon has of tht affect e.g. 220 poison
I know thts kinda complicated and i tried to explain it as well as i can and this is only a theory it may not be true

If you stand in front of its face, the fire thing wont hit you, but you'll proberably get clawed, charged, or hit by its breath attack. Also, if you destroy its crown thing, the fire will stop. It will stop if you flash bomb, poison, paralyse, or sleep it, but only temporarily
