Same. But mine came back in about two weeks, that was about 8, 9 years ago, now she's 20.

Our cat ran away for several weeks. Was massive when she left and came back all skinny. We were worried sick.
And why don't you let your cats out in the first place? That's what we always do, they're clever and will find their way back to you as long as they've been with you for more than 6 months or so.
