...Not really...Just use your HUD or if you have the Fog Skull turned on..beat the game first so you know where to go.

The game is fairly straightforward. If you are in a area for a long period of time, you should get a way point on your HUD for reference.

It is just... sometimes the way points are not present. Any way I just thinking that Halo 2 was better design for navigation, am I right?

Oh I see.
The jungle environments were a little confusing a first, but you should get the hang of it. More often than not, the Arbiter is waiting for you at the place you're meant to be going. Just look for him and you'll be all good.
