if you are g-rank my advice would be to get the wyvern blade 'maple' and beat the crap out of it coz it is weak to fire, or you could get the golden falchion, shiny rathalos sword, those will do the trick also use blango armour coz it has quake resistance which helps.

take a lot of bombs, lg barrel bomb+ and bounce bomb+ and small barrel bombs to set of the large ones, use the antidragon bombs as well, they do loads of damage. get 5 flame sacs to make bombardien jewels so you get the bomber skill on you armour, and use a wyvern blade 'blood', keep attacking its legs till all of them go red and then attack its claws

i know that its possible to jump into the mouth in the guild quests but is it possible in the village? cos i would like to get the lao duals before fighting it.

Apparently, if you get in his mouth, and use the dragon bomb things, it breaks the skull's horn off, in case you didn't already know.
