Settlers: Rise of an Empire Message Board  

Hi,
there is a trainer for Settlers: Rise of an Empire and I would like to know who created it. I'm trying to create one myself but for some reason it works only for one level. I would like to know what I'm doing wrong so I would like to ask him. Don't know if any1 knows the author of it.

likely you aren't taking into account that the game stores everything in memory dynamically.

as for helping you along with this trainer, it was one of the most aggravating trainers i had to make-

i encountered many many crashes and headaches with this one. i would tell you that i don't really have the time to go over all this with you. if you post a specific question here i MAY be able to help you along if i get a second to respond-

Yes they are using dynamic adresses. If you want to make a trainer that works all the time you have to find the pointers for the adresses. Then it will work on all levels and also after restarts. If you have them it would be nice of you when you post them. I would like to have them, too.

I tried to find the .dll which handles the wares but couldn't find it. Where do I find the ports?

As for the crashes, I had the same problem but If you use only small boosts (<9) you should be fine. The Gold amount is independently and can be set on 50000 or whatever you like.

To find those pointers to the specific adresses. I suggest you to set a breakpoint on the specific memmory adresses with a debugger. Finding pointers with CoSMOS which I assume you guys are meaning is very time consuming and weird also finding 5 level pointers etc. While one breakpoint could be enough!. I am not saying one breakpoint isn't enough as I haven't checked out this game myself.

Yes money is easy. Stone and wood and these one can be edited high also. But what is with sheeps and cows? And stones for the catapults? I have no idea how to search these values. These values would be very nice - then you can make a sheepfarm in the desert missions on one click. Perhaps there are tips how to do it.

A quick thank you to Caliber I always enjoyed Settlers game but you made this one much better with your trainer for me and my limited game playing time. A true fan please keep up the great projects.
