Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts Message Board  

The first time I used the trainer it worked perfectly! However when I tried to play the skirmish the trainer said "activated" for all options but made no difference to the game. I ran it as admin before loading the game and my game version and the trainer version match.... I decided to go back to the Campaign and noticed that the Instand build feature stopped working...

Is there a reason for the inconsistent operation of the trainer? Is it something I am doing wrong? Thanks for all your hard work on this! Helps us players with low frustration tolerance enjoy the game!

Sounds like you're doing something wrong or something has changed on your end. Obviously the trainer's code didn't change as you said it worked perfectly the first time. You need to figure out what changed on your end. Otherwise, maybe try a full reinstall of the game and re-download the trainer. You may have corrupted a file or something.

Well, I don't know if the promo version is similar to this, but I ran the trainer AFTER the game is running (alt+tab) and it works fine for me. Try running it after the game.

And remember to press F1 at the main menu. (not later! - this might give unexpected results, which I've experienced when doing this mistake)

I moved the trainer file into the actual folder for the game and followed everyone's instructions. I am happy to say that everything has been working perfectly!
