All "Smart AIs" go rampant after seven years of life in the halo universe, so cortana will most likely either be crazy or dead come the next sequel if there is one, which disappoints me.

But didnt Halsley explain in the books that AIs could shut themselves down for a certain period of time? Im sure she did.

Watch the scene after the credits if you haven't.

I saw that part.I'm excluding before hand though.I mean I'm just saying I didnt necissarily think it would expectively end like that.

    I have commitment issues

It ended how it ended. We know the Chief is alive...and that's all that matters...not Lord Hood or whoever.

I just finished it today. I must say that this is easily the greatest game I've ever played - the end was a bit confuzzling though. Does anybody else get the sense that it was a bit... rushed?

The campaign, yes. Even when you realize that a few of the levels had back tracking in it.

Yup. The second level especially. "get back to the ops center" was said at least 10 times... it was so annoying.

    "secure the perimeter". Done.
"get back to the ops center". Alright...
"get to the hangar and clear it". Ok, done.
"get back to the ops center". >_>

I was thinking of Flood Gate. It was too short and a complete back tracking of The Storm.

Well, at least with online there is the need to play the campaign over and over and over again along with multi player.
