Ok I had the same problem but I've heard that you must kill all of the hynkypunks the lantern people. More will come back but keep fighting the the crystal ball will charge up allowing you to open the door up!!!!

use lumos duo un till they get soild then kill them with flipendo

ok i know what you have to do... if you are at the part where ron is stuck in a room with these things holding lanterns u have to shine the light spell at one at a time then hit them with the Flipendo spell twice... ok now i need help i am at the part in the game where i just finished potions and i went on to charm class and the teacher asked harry ron and hermoine to go get a book or something and the door past that poisionous fairy wont open... how do i open it??
