If catching celebi with a gameshark like u said is the only way of catching celebi in the game, what is the shrine stuff for? the shrine is in honor of celebi, and there is supposed to be a code about the GS ball placing it on it???

If you have the Japanese version of the game then you can get a GS Ball from Kurt and place it in the Shrine to battle Celebi. All other versions, US, UK, Australia, etc. dont have this.

But there is a shrine in the US version like in the japanese version, I guess??? actually I think my game is made in japan, so there is no such thing as a US version, unless it is because it is not in japanese, but in english.

yep, there is a shrine in US version but you can't use it. Japanese version is the one the language is japanese. (i think)

Yea, it has the shrine but you cant use it. All the games not in Japanese wont be able to.

A cousin of mine had the green version in japanese, don't think he has Gold/Silver versions in japanese though,

To get Celebi, you have to catch Suicune, Entei, and Raikou, and then trade in Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres. Then, go to Viridian City in Kanto. Outside of the Battle Station there should be a woman. Talk to her, and she'll give you a GS Ball. Go back to Ilex Forest, and get to the shrine. Put the ball in the shrine, and Celebi (level 5) will come out of it.

I don't think this cheat works, does it? I think I've tried it, but I'll try it again.
