LMFAO
Yeh kind of annoying, all these people out on a mission to ruin it for us all, kind of depressing really.
I dont see why you guys care that much about the ending. All i'll say if the ending is so big of a deal to you dont want to know what happens, you're gonna be disapointed.
I've never gotten why people care about spoilers in a video game. I play games for the game. If I wanted story i'd read a book or watch a movie. Sure its fun to play not knowing what will happen but knowing what happens but it's only like 1% less fun if you do know.
You guys really shouldn't treat this game as such a big deal. It's just a solid shooter with a big name title that a lot of people will be playing because the online is very simple and anyone can learn to play. Everyone has their expectations so high and are treating this game like Jesus and Ghandi had sex and halo 3 was born, they are prolly gonna be slightly dissapointed when they pick it up and realize
"Hey, this is halo 2 with shiney graphics and more weapons/items/game modes"
Now dont get me wrong I love to play halo with my friends because its so simple anyone can play basically. It's a shooter everyone can get into. You dont have to be into the army thing(GRAW), and you dont have to like sci fi things(shadowrun). But ..damn.

To me, its more about having a cinematic experience, actually thinking that your doing something, rather than thinking, "Shoot this, do that, shoot some more, game over." And besides, theres nothing worse than thinking, about 2/3 through the game, you already know the ending to the game. Its like putting together a puzzle, you have the left side done, you have the right side done, and automatically, you know what the picture is without the middle. Theres no point of finishing it.

Well that's your point of view. Honestly, I wouldn't be into Halo as much as I would if it wasn't for the story line. I read all five books with the sixth one soon to come. About to play the third game. All of which add to the epic story which is Halo.
And that's why I don't want it spoiled. That's why I can hardly wait. Not so I can plunge right into match making, but so I can finish the fight that I started six years ago.
Granted, I'm looking forward to match making very...very much. I can see myself spending a lot of time playing Halo 3 in the years to come.
And what you said about Halo 3 being Halo 2 with shinier graphics, more weapons etc...well...that's basically what sequels are. Better versions of their predecessors.
