After dousing him with water on the target points on him just keep moving around in a circle nailing him with pumpkins. He won't be able to touch you if you keep moving in a circle around him...easy
Venom is a little tough afterwards, but the real pain in the ass is the button sequence at the end...I hated it Took me two, three tries but I finally got it and beat Spiderman 3.

I think he meant the earlier battle in the game. Just keep fighting him and when a train is coming grab him or something and keep pressing the showed button to lower his health. After you did that a few times do a button sequence and repeat this 2-3 times.
