Than a Brute Chieftain with invincible shielding charging at you (while you have no shields) with a Gravity Hammer after you just killed twenty other Brute soldiers?

Than one encounter with more enemies than one whole level of Halo CE?

Than a horde of Grunts with duel plasma pistols and grenades charging at you, screaming for your death?

Well there is only one answer to those questions, and that is a Covenant Scarab. You might disagree with me at first, saying that the Scarab in Halo 2 was really easy, but wait, that Scarab in Halo 2 was scripted. Yeeesss...the Scarabs in Halo 3 will NOT be scripted, instead, they will have an AI of their own just like any other Covenant or Marine.

You will have to fight these Scarabs as they hunt you down, raining a ray of melting plasma upon yourself and any of your allies that might be with you at the time.

These Scarabs will be deadly and one hell of a foe to kill. And in my experience of keeping up with the latest info of Halo 3, I am fairly certain that you will encounter more than one in the game.

Yeah no more jumping on them to kill them...its missile pod rocket launcher etc.

Well you have to get on it and destroy the certain part(s) of it I think in order for it to be destroyed completely...

Meh i saw on the vidoc MC shooting it with a missile pod...it flashes to a different scene then back and it goes BOOM. Either way its gonna be a great game.

Well remember at the end of the E3 07 trailer...MC was shooting something with a pistol...and it looked like he was inside the Scarab or something...and then he jumped off...
