Hi PMWiz,

I too am having trouble with the trainer for v1.3.1416, more specific instructions would be very helpful. When I activate the trainer, using the NUM-PAD keys, I hear the "ACTIVATED" voice, but nothing happens.

1) I have WinXP-Pro, and Legal copy of the game.
2) My game version is 1.3.1416, and I have the new trainer for that game version
3) I disabled my FRAPS & AV software to run the game & trainer, no improvement
4) I read all instructions PRIOR to operating the trainer and still no improvement
5) I have attempted to run the trainer before starting the game and after I have started the game, the results are the same
6) I have checked and made sure no game controls are assigned to the Trainer keys
7) I deactivated my MultiMedia Keyboard resident memory control program, so it would not interfere
8) The trainer file is in the game directory

btw: I do appreciate all the work Caliber & everyone else has put in to create & perfect this trainer.

Any assistance, or other suggestions to help me get this trainer going will be very much appreciated.

It doesn't sound like you're using the no-cd fix. Did you try that?

the cd-fix will nt install. i get an error message. does the cd-fix mean i can play the game without putting in the game dvd ?

Yes, that is correct. cd-fixes do not need to be installed. Typically you just extract them and overwrite the game's primary .exe file with the one from the fix. Make sure the version and nationality is correct. For example on Darkstar One, you need the 1.3 English/Internation version of the no cd-fix. NOT the Russian version.

when i try to extract the file i get a cannot create DarkStarOne.exe access denied error message.

Must be your antivirus or antispyware application blocking it for some reason. Either that or you don't have permission to overwrite the original file. Try extracting it to a different folder and then manually copying it over.
