i dont exactly know how to do the cheats cuz i suppose you have to do it while its on puase but how would i press L1 while its on pause? doesnt seem like its working.. please pleaseeeee

it's all very simple. you don't do it in the pause menu you do it during gameplay.

You enter the cheats during gameplay, and P1 has to enter the cheats. He has to enter the gnome first, and then the cheats. You do not hold down any buttons whilst entering.
