Hey, I'm pretty new to this game as well; but have noticed that you can [only] do a "Fatality" when the computer allows you you to. Or rather, says to do it. Hope this helps, 'cause I'm not really sure where you were going w/this.

I bought this game a week ago....my best fatality was an evil one........it's not that hard...it's rather anoying cause ya got to act fast because of that damn fatality meter
Let's see...I like mortal kombat,I like wresling,I like king of fighters, i like Dragon Ball Z,Def jam..lots of other games.Conclusion:I'M A FIGHTING GAME ADICT =D
