i can get to him easily enough but i cant beat him!!! ive seen the next place and it looks so fun but i cant get there!!!! and im running out of stars to get to keep me busy

It has been a long time since I've played this so the details may not be 100% right.
The second version of Bowser needs to be thrown in to a single bomb to defeat him. When Bowser jumps run in the opposite direction as the level will be tilted at a ridiculous angle, once the level starts to swing back you need to run in the other direction to avoid falling in to the lava and once again for the third swing. After the level swings for the third time the level will keep on swinging however it won't force you to slide if you don't resist it by running in the opposite direction so you'll have a chance to run behind and grab Bowser then it's just a matter of throwing him in to a bomb.

yeah it's pretty easy, just throw him into a bomb and then he blows up, and run the other way when he jumps.
