Dungeon Siege 2 Message Board  

hello
recently i started my ds2 adventure but in chapter 9 of act I i found some troubles - after entering the windstone fortress i cant fullfill the quest about the missing squadron, i cant gent into the room where private banos is. when i stand in the hall all i see is a black hole inside the doors and i cant get inside the room. that room is not even marked on the map. i have english version of the game and it's v2.0, i used shield of azunai and valdis sword mods. anubody have any ideas how to fix that?

Vegeta thanks for your help but you misunderstood me - i know where to find provate Banos but i cant enter that location because it's just a blak hole in that room's doors. maybe those pictures will show you what is my problem

It looks like a glitch of the game, but i am not sure. Can you please tell the location, so i can find it? (Is it the windstone fortress vault/barrack etc?)

it is a location called "The eastern gatehouse", and that corridor is situated almost straight to gatehouse entrance.
dont know how to make it easier to you

ps. i found another location like this - it is inside the xeria temple in the second room the one with a statue in the back. i can't enter side rooms and therefore i can't continue the game here you have another screenshots of that bug:

About the first one (eastern gate house) there is nothing important in this room, only some minions. About the second one (Xeria) i really can't understand the location. Can you post a link with the location in the mini map Link. At first sight, i believe it is a game glitch and i am afraid that you have to reinstall the game.
P.S. What are the stats of your PC (RAM, VideoCard and MHz of CPU)?

i tried to reinstall the game as you said before but it didn't hlep for any of those holes.
my pc specs:
processor: duron 1800 MHz
memory: 512 MB
video card: gigabyte radeon 9550 with 128 MB memory
hdd: 80 GB seagate
MB: soltek KT600
if you need any more infos please tell me what you want

Well, if you tried to reinstall the game and nothing happened, the next thing i believe it has to do with your system stats. Have you installed DirectX 9.0c? Also your video card is really good and i think it needs higher CPU (Read the "Readme.doc" file of DungeonSiege2-Section:System Requirements. Program file-->Microsoft Game-->DungeonSiege2-->Readme.doc). Also can you tell, if you play more than an hour or two, is your game starting to freeze or getting slow?
