i have a DS and am not new to WIFI but i still dontunderstand how you trade pokemon to and from ppl when they are thousands of miles away . When im in the ds chat rooms they quit woring around 50 feet away . so can some one kinda help me?

to trade over wifi u go 2 the gts in jublife city and get on wifi there, then search 4 the pokemon u want and if ne1 has it, they will pop up on the touch screen, touch the person u want 2 trade with and it will tell u what they want 4 it. if u hav it then choose trade and u will get the pokemon.
if u want 2 trade 1 of ur pokemon 2 some1 else then go 2 the gts and get on wifi then choose put up pokemon (offer) and choose the pokemon and tell what level and kind of pokemon u want 4 it. if some1 agrees, next time u r at the gts u will trade with the other person

so do you have to hook up a cable or something to boost the wifi or use the ds's wifi

you can also get a pal pad for friend code roster add a persons freind code and name and use tthe wifi club when they are on and ding u can communicate.

but that doesnt answer my queston

there is something u can do 2 boost ur range but 2 use wifi on the ds u just need 2 be near an access point, no cables

so ur saying if i get my ds next to my laptop that has wireless internet by bellsouth it would automaticly boost it
