Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars Message Board  

Any time I try to use a game trainer for C&C 3, it crashes. I can play normally, but am completely unable to play with a trainer. The message that comes up states:

Because of the severity of this error the game will now exit.


Im playing the downloaded version of the game, with the latest patch to 1.05. Is it possible that this is the reason I cant run any trainer while playing? If so, does anyone know if there is a work around for this? I appreciate any help.

Yes, that probably is the issue. Try the no-cd fix and see if that helps. You can get it at gameburnworld . com or megagames . com. Make sure you get the right version of game and trainer.

I just tried the No-DVD patch, and it crashed as soon as I loaded the trainer.

Ugh, why the hell cant they just add text cheats like they used to in games?

Cause this is not C&C 1?

But do give them some credit for making these trainers. Else we'll be sucking thumb and going up against the brutals.

Oh no doubt, I wish I could make trainers like this.

I just wish I had gone out and bought the game instead of being a lazy bum and ordering it online for download. I kicked myself when I was at the game store, and the idea that a trainer wouldnt work cause it was a download popped in my head, and I had said to myself "what was the point of me downloading it when I was coming in the store anyway?"

Oh well, just take me longer to finish the Nod campaign.

Are you running on windows vista?

Yes, and I have it set up for compatability mode, and to run as administrator, to no avail.
